Brazilian public technology for identity validation and fraud prevention is a highlight at Money20/20 Europe 2026, one of the world's largest financial technology and payments events. From June 2 to 4, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Serpro—the largest public IT services enterprise in the world—presents its main identity verification platforms: DataValid and Consulta CPF.
The goal is to expand the reach of these Brazilian solutions into the global market, targeting sectors that demand high security and compliance, such as digital banking, financial platforms, and the rapidly growing iGaming segment.
Global Solutions with Official Base
With the digital market expansion, international companies operating in Brazil or looking to validate Brazilian users face challenges regarding security and compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
Serpro's solutions address this issue by offering access to official, updated data directly from government sources, ensuring legal certainty and maximum accuracy.
- DataValid: Formats and cross-checks biometric (facial) and cadastral data against official government registries, providing a reliability percentage for identity validation.
- Consulta CPF: Enables real-time verification of the status and authenticity of the Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (the Brazilian individual taxpayer registry), which is essential for onboarding clients and preventing identity theft.
